A tribal guy was once brutally assaulted and made to pose like a “murga” (rooster) in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul on Sunday. An alleged staff of the Bajrang Dal subjected the sufferer to casteist slur and bodily violence.

Uikey, operating as a DJ, narrated the scary enjoy and mentioned that round 11:30 pm, when he was once on his long ago house, Chanchal and his pals from the Bajrang Dal picked him up. “They assaulted me bodily and verbally, and used casteist slurs towards me,” Uikey was once quoted as pronouncing.
The video went viral on social media after Congress chief Jitu Patwari introduced the incident to mild in a publish on X. This triggered the police to take instant motion and record an FIR towards Chanchal Rajput and the opposite 3 accused.
Betul Superintendent of Police (SP) Siddarth Chaudhary mentioned advised PTI, “Data of a viral video was once won remaining night time by which a formative years was once being crushed. We reached out to the sufferer, known as Raju Uikey. FIR has been registered within the case. Out of the 4 other people concerned within the case, the sufferer has known one particular person.”
Investigation into the topic is underway and the accused can be nabbed quickly, Chaudhary mentioned.
