Top Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met members of the family of former Bihar leader minister overdue Karpoori Thakur, who used to be bestowed Bharat Ratna, the country’s absolute best civilian award, final month. The members of the family of the distinguished socialist chief, led through his son Rajya Sabha member and JD(U) chief Ram Nath Thakur, met the top minister at his 7, Lok Kalyan Marg place of dwelling.

“More than pleased to satisfy the members of the family Bharat Ratna awardee Jananayak Karpoori Thakur ji. Karpoori ji has been the messiah of the backward and disadvantaged sections of the society, whose existence and beliefs will proceed to encourage the countrymen,” the top minister stated. Ram Nath Thakur stated he thanked the top minister for the consideration on behalf of his circle of relatives, on behalf of Bihar and on behalf of the oppressed, Dalits, and backward communities.

”It used to be a joyous second for us, similar to a 2d Diwali. Crackers had been burst and goodies had been allotted,” Ranjit Kumar, the previous leader minister’s grandson stated. He stated the top minister known as them an afternoon after the award used to be introduced. He spoke with each and every circle of relatives member and invited them to satisfy him in Delhi, he added.

“I felt that the top minister used to be one in every of our circle of relatives,” he stated. Fondly referred to as Jan Nayak, Karpoori Thakur served as the executive minister of Bihar from December 1970 to June 1971 and from December 1977 to April 1979.
